Juicer upgrade!

A HUGE thanks to Brooke's parents who brought in a juicer for us to borrow and a lot of fruit for us to squeeze.  We have been looking at how it is important to drink water to help us learn.  As a wider off-shoot we have been looking at where else we can find water and how much water (found in juice) we can find in fruits.  Have a look at our video below.  We had so much fun this afternoon!!!
There is more to come  - here is the first video

  1. Hello Room 9. I am Elisa's nan. I think you do some pretty cool things at school these days. What fun to make juice and to get to taste it. Your water inquiry project is a lot of fun isn't it.

  2. Pretty cool this project happened as Brooke now wants fresh juice and gets excited about juicing it herself. Thanks Breville for the loan of the juicer. Looks like we will be purchasing one. Can't believe she is even asking for carrot juice....

  3. I think it would be nice (and it would certainly be purposeful) to get some or all of Room 9 to write thank you letters to Breville. We will include some photos of the juicing. The carrot juice actually comes out quite sweet. The least favourite juice was the tomato juice I think. They even liked the cucumber juice better!

  4. What a neat thing to investigate. I've only tried apple and orange juice, so you are all ahead of me!
